Ensuring AI makes us more human

.png)

Artificial Intelligence views information as Lego-like blocks, continually assembling and reassembling them without limits. When faced with a significant decision, if we adopt a similar approach, we can piece together the elements we believe are necessary to reach that decision. It doesn't cross our minds to search for what we cannot yet perceive which may change what decision we need to make, leading us to make significant errors.

Everyone is given opportunities to learn the skills to move around obstacles obstructing their view, to see what they didn’t know was there. Moments that make us all go Wow.

The human opportunity of AI
Artificial Intelligence treats data, information, and knowledge as Lego-like pieces that it assembles into a pre-set build. AI can take my writing style and a topic I don't agree with, and assemble it into a detailed and well-referenced document that appears to be from me, that I have not written. AI is the ultimate Lego builder.

When we copy what AI does we look for Lego-like building blocks of qualifications and knowledge to assemble into a job. The opposite is becoming experts by experience in moving around these Lego-like blocks to see what we didn’t know was there. That we often describe as a moment of Wow.
We play in a 1.2.3 Wow zone
-
Switch off the impulse to build Lego-like pieces of skills and knowledge into a specified game plan; and
-
Embrace a serene sense of togetherness, equilibrium, tranquility, and awareness of our surroundings, and select a micro routine of movement to initiate moving around what we see; and
-
Take a moment to reflect on how the micro routine of movement changed what is going on around us, then select and execute another micro routine, repeating this until we move past the things around us and see something we were not expecting to see. A moment that truly wow's us. A Wow moment.
We utilize competition to inspire each other to do 1.2.3. Wow. A game becomes a platform for self-expression, where individuals utilize their unique talents, circumstances, and physical abilities to craft collaborative and memorable Wow moments. Winning or losing every Wow moment pulls us towards unseen opportunity.
Coaching the skills where Artificial Intelligence falls short, to thrive in a world driven by AI.

To thrive in a world with AI, consider doing the opposite of what AI does.
AI searches for Lego-like pieces of information and assembles them in many ways. When we make decisions using the same AI process we narrow our focus on finding the Lego-like piece of information we think we need to make a decision. We miss what we don't know is available and make poor decisions.
A quick way to stop ourselves from perceiving the world as AI is to see the Lego-like blocks of information as obstacles obstructing our view. We then decide how to move around these obstacles to see what we didn’t know was there. We craft moments where we go Wow. We do the opposite of AI and improve our decision-making by transcending mechanical thinking.
When we do this we begin to notice how things relate to one another, recognizing the connection and flow that is often missed when focused solely on piecing together components. Life evolves into a stunning dance, a strategic chess match of space and time, making it both a joy to participate in and observe. We are the best of ourselves.

We provide opportunities to enhance skills in areas where AI falls short, enabling us to succeed in an AI-driven world.

"failing to plan is planning to fail". But, sometimes "no plan survives the first punch" - is the same

Members learn three skills to pulled themselves forward to find what else can be done.
Skills 1 - To not let ego blind them to those moments when it is clear it is not going to go to plan.
Skill 2 - An ability to know when and how to switch off the routines of a game plan. To use micro routines to weave an unplanned flow of actions - to get around what is disrupting the routines of a game plan. To find what else can be done. Wow moments.
Skills 3 - An ability to know when and how to switch on the routines to deliver as planned.

These skills apply to just about anything we plan to do. Playing basketball is one of the best ways for anyone to learn these skills. It’s also a great way to share these skills in action.
The video below is on the routines of a game plan
The video below is on micro routines
The video below shows the switching between routines and micro routines
Our goal is to help everyone learn the skills to be ready for when it is not going to plan. We deliberately disrupt the routines being used to deliver a game plan. To keep control we use our "be kind" rule. At a practical level, it means we only compete and collaborate by weaving micro routines to open and close space to get around each other. Not through it each other. We give those with less athletic and technical skills than ourselves - more space and time to weave their micro routines. People who insist on using athletic dominance to impose the routines of a game plan will be asked to leave. There is nothing wrong with doing this. It's just not what we do.

01
By switching OFF - the consciousness of the machine
When thinking is partitioned into smaller parts that assemble into a machine of conscious thinking - imaginative leaps in performance can only happen in the space between partitioned parts of thinking. Accessing these leaps in performance requires switching off the consciousness of the machine.
02
The consciousness of flow comes to the forefront of our thinking
The consciousness of the machine pays attention to one thing at a time - so that all things work together as an efficient machine. The consciousness of the machine is switched off by paying attention to the space between things. This allows us to see the relationships of how all things move through space and time. We can time a movement through the space between things - to find leaps in performance. Switching off the consciousness of the machine brings the consciousness of flow to the forefront of our thinking.
03
For peak performance
We achieve peak performance by switching between the consciousness of the machine - to correctly do what we know works and the consciousness of flow to find leaps in performance.

Why Sports coaches should send their players to us
The fundamentals of a sport normally have to come first and over time bit by bit a player's creativity emerges. We speed up this process by you sending players to our sessions for creativity - while you do the fundamentals of your sport. Players learn the skills of creativity in parallel to mastering fundamentals with you.

We coach the players better see the depth of space between all the other players in a game. Better read the whole of what is happening. To get better at thinking outside the box - to time a movement through the space between all the players in a game - to create a constant flow of options that are hard to defend and easier to score.

Fundamentals with creativity means ...

-
Players beat players more athletic than themselves. As demonstrated by Steph Curry in the video. He scores against 4 players more athletic than himself.
-
Players who lack the athletic ability to get into club squads learn how to get more space and timing to better execute fundamentals - to get into squads.
